Austin Social Scene’s
Annual New Year’s Eve Gala
has earned a reputation
as one of the most unique party experiences in the nation.For 17 years,
Austin’s professional singles, couples and groups have come together to
celebrate the New Year with style and elegance, long past the stroke of
midnight.
|
This year, Austin's only nonstop, all-night New Year's Eve party will
take place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 6121 North IH-35 at 290 East.
For
guests with hotel packages, the evening begins at 7pm with a
complimentary preparty at the hotel with an open bar and light hors
d'oeuvres. During the preparty,
attending guests will be given early entrance to the Main Ballroom so
they may secure themselves the best seats in the house.
The
Gala will begin at 8pm and the party will kick off immediately with
live music and cash bars conveniently located throughout the hotel
offering premium liquor, imported and domestic beer, champagne and fine
wines from around the world. |

VALLEJO
A striking blend of swaggering rock grooves,
potent guitar work, Latin percussion and soulful
lyrics has made VALLEJO one of the most popular
bands to hail from Austin. The band has won
numerous awards including Best Rock Band two
years in a row at the Austin Music Awards.
VALLEJO has also had their songs featured in
several TV shows such as WB’s Roswell, MTV’s
Road Rules and UPN’s American Top Model. |

NEWSBOYZ
Founded in 1996 and widely regarded as one of
the most versatile bands around, the group keeps
the dance floor packed from start to finish with
everything from swing to retro to classic rock
to country. Two distinct male vocalists
compliment a terrific female vocalist to form a
versatile and formidable vocal lineup. For a
non-stop dancing and the most professional
overall presentation around.....The Newsboyz

Taboo
Known for being Austin's best funk and soul
band. However, every once in a while they will
surprise you with a rock tune. This group of
five excellent musicians and vocalists has a
high-energy style that definitely will keep you
on the dance floor all night long.�
We promise that the minute you hear them start
playing the famous blues song, “At Last,” that
you won’t be able to stop from swaying to the

Considered Austin’s finest dance band.�
We consider them the best in Texas and beyond.�
Veterans of the Texas music scene for more than
a quarter of a century, these astounding
musicians will take you on a time trip through
music history with their classic rock, pop,
oldies and country western music.�
They will bring a smile to your face and will
drive you to the dance floor in droves. |

the Gala ends, the hotel atmosphere really heats
up.�
This year, all guests of the Gala are invited to
continue the festivities into the wee hours at
any of the legendary after-parties hosted by
guests throughout the Crowne Plaza Hotel. |

Gala/Crowne Plaza Package |
The cost of The Gala/Crowne Plaza Package is
$269.00 plus tax.�
The package includes your accommodations at the
Crowne Plaza Hotel and admission for two to the
preparty, the Gala and the after-parties.�
However, the earlier that you make reservations,
the more money you will save on the package.�
If you book prior to December 21, the cost will
be $219 plus tax, a savings of more than $30.�

hotel package, the cost is $40 per person until
December 25th, and $50 thereafter and at the
door the night of the Gala.�
