Austin Social Scene has earned the reputation of organizing some of the most unique and enjoyable party experiences in the nation. This year will begin a new tradition, that of the Black and White Fall Ball , which will take place at the magnificent and dramatically beautiful Omni Austin Hotel Downtown. Together with a select group of sponsors composed of premier Austin-area professionals, Austin Social Scene is putting on the ball of the year.

The evening begins with guests arriving in evening attire in the colors of black, white, or a combination of the two. The festivities will begin immediately at 8pm with live music by four fun, well-known dance bands, Les and the Funk Mob, The Daddios, The Crush and LC Rocks to keep things grooving. You can pick your favorite type of music, whether it is country, funk, soul, rock-and-roll, oldies or current hits, and settle into one of the two ballrooms to dance the night away until the party closes at 2am .

The expected 1,500 guests will come from multi-cultured, professional walks of life and will include singles to married couples, so you can feel comfortable coming alone or with a date, and be assured that you will have the time of your life.

There will be cash bars conveniently scattered throughout the hotel offering premium liquor, imported and domestic beer, and fine wines from around the world. Additionally, the fine-food buffet from the fabulous Ancho's Restaurant will be open and available to fulfill your dining needs.

The cost of the ball, which includes admission to any of the music or dining areas, and access to the available 20,000 square feet of fun, is $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door. They are best known for the rock of the eighties, but play everything from Neil Diamond and the Beatles to Bon Jovi and Van Halen.
